Jasen Gast – President

Jasen received his degree in International Business and Business Management from Stephen F. Austin State University. During his time at SFASU, Jasen was a member of the Men’s Lumberjack Basketball Team for four years. After graduating, he began working for Bechtel Corporation in the Oil & Gas Industry. His work background includes involvement with global engineering and construction companies in the field of procurement, sales, customer support, and manager of global projects. He currently works for Enventure Global Technology in the Technical Sales Division for Western Hemisphere. Jasen started developing the idea for GCFOM in 2005 with a couple of friends. His connection to fishing comes through his experience of spending countless hours growing up fishing with his father and brothers around the Gulf of Mexico.

Charlie Bilberry – Dir. of Marketing

Charlie graduated from the University of Houston – Clear Lake in 2007 with a BBA in Business Management. He has been involved with fishing, hunting, and conservation activities for the last 15 years via Ducks Unlimited, Coastal Conservation Association, and Delta Waterfowl. Charlie remains passionate about sharing the experiences of the great outdoors with those who otherwise would be unable. He worked in the Marine industry, both recreational (Ron Hoover Marine) and commercial (TRIAD Marine), for over 3 years. Currently, he is a project developer in the energy sector.

Angie Choueifati – Dir. of Finance

Angie graduated from the University of Houston in 2004, with a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology and with a minor in English.  While attending U of H, she was the author of her weekly advice column for the University of Houston’s paper, The Daily Cougar. 
 
For 3 years, she volunteered her time at the Palmer Drug Abuse Program, helping children become drug-free.  
 
Angie joined the Texas Public Policy Foundation in November 2007 as their Events Manager. She receives great gratification from helping others and looks forward to helping the children involved with GCFOM. She is a Houston native and currently resides in Austin, TX.

Carolina Ruiz –Executive Administrator

Carolina Ruiz received a Bachelor of Arts in English and Religious Studies in 2003 and a Master of Arts in English in 2006, from the University of the Incarnate Word, located in San Antonio, Texas.  She currently teaches English course at Lone Stary  Cy-Fair College and Houston Community College.  Projected plans for a doctorate degree are also in the making.  While her love for teaching is evident, her true passion is making the world a better place.  For 4 years, Carolina has dedicated her time as a volunteer in Women’s Global Connection (a non-profit organization), where she has travelled to Africa to work with children and young adults.  She looks forward to working with the young youth of GCFOM.




Terry Gast – Director of Pub. Relations

Terry graduated from Stephen F. Austin State University in 2004, with a BBA in Business Marketing. During his time in college, Terry held the position of Vice President of the SFA BASS club, and volunteered his time at numerous organizations including Boys and Girls Club and Sports for Christ. The love for fishing and the outdoors was instilled in his life at a young age, and he looks forward to extending the passion for the outdoors to the people that will be impacted by GCFOM. Terry currently works as an account manager for BMC Software, headquartered in Houston, TX.
